You can download the help file that is shipped with every edition of MTFeed to get a better understanding of what MTFeed is.

Note: Recent Windows security updates might prevent you from viewing the contents of this file after you downloaded it from the Internet. You will have to save it somewhere, right click it and click Unblock to make the contents of this file accessible.

That only applies to the help file downloaded from the Internet. It will work fine as it is when accessed from the application itsefl.

MetaTrader Client Terminal is an integral part of the MetaTrader trading platform. Since MTFeed works in tandem with MetaTrader you will have to download and install the client terminal for this platform.

You can do this by using the download link above. But keep in mind that every broker that uses the MetaTrader trading platform has its own version of the client terminal. If you plan to evaluate the trading platform using a demo account, the above link will do. But when you are ready to trade using a real account you will have to download your broker's terminal client that is specifically tuned to work with the broker's trading servers. The above link points to the client terminal for X-Trade Brokers.
